Portfolio-level learning: a 30,000 foot view that everyone can share
Portfolio learning helps funders and nonprofits make sense of what they are collectively experiencing and discovering. We work with organizations to identify the questions that matter most to them, then design structured processes for sharing knowledge across the portfolio. Our particular strengths are: including the users of the information in the design of the process; and aggregating evidence across organizations that measure things differently. We co-create valid, low-burden ways to identify patterns and insights that provide strategic intelligence for the broader ecosystem.
NEW: all-staff monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) trainings
A lot of organizations in the democracy sector are looking to level up by collecting better data on their activities for donor reporting, organizational learning, and public communications. EIRP offers sector-specific MEL 101 trainings aimed at helping all staff understand how MEL helps them strengthen their organization and build their professional capacities.
